GOP’s recent votes don’t appear very Christian

When Republicans are doing whatever it takes to take away health insurance from 24 million Americans, and cut funding for programs like food stamps that help the poor get by, it is astonishing to me that they have the nerve to call themselves a Christian party that represents Jesus Christ.

Why would Jesus Christ be a Republican? Jesus Christ did what he could to heal the sick, and feed the hungry. Those are two things that Republican politicians could care less about doing. So that says it all: They are not a political party that represents Jesus Christ or Christianity at all.
