Regarding health care reform, people continue to talk away about a subject that they have little or no expertise in. I have worked in doctors’ offices, clinics and hospitals for over 30 years as a manager responsible for billing and collecting payments from patients and insurance companies.
I have seen every type of insurance, even some from overseas, that I had to work with to get my employers paid for the medical services they provided. Unlike most everyone else, I speak from experience when I say that the federal and state governments are the two most difficult and wasteful entities on the planet when it comes to bureaucracy.
There are ways to fix the problem but not with the likes of Obama, Congress or any of the other lobbyists trying to cut themselves a piece of this health-care reform package. It will cost all of us way too much, be incredibly inefficient and wasteful, and would lead to major shortages of skilled doctors to perform the necessary tasks to take care of our population.
By the way, Canada has 33 million people and England has 61 million people. In the United States we have over 300 million people, so you don’t think we will all be covered, do you? I would be happy to discuss the necessary steps to get health-care reform efficiently and quickly enacted if you would like to have a plan.
