Grand American sense of humor

I’ve sometimes wondered if anyone actually thought Doug Parry’s “Buzz” was funny. Friday’s letters section gave me an answer. His fans appear to have his same juvenile sense of humor. Apparently they all gleaned their knowledge of Canada and Canadians from the old Bob &Doug McKenzie skits.

What would be the effect if all Canadians living here took his advice to go back to Canada? Not only a massive brain drain and a huge impact on the economy, but no more Silvertips hockey games! He’s about as funny as the guy who booed the singing of the Canadian national anthem at a hockey game. I just hope the Canadians can remember that some Americans have a warped sense of humor. After all, look what they put in the White House seven years ago!
