We would like to give a big thank you to the busy personnel of the Edmonds/Kingston ferry run. On Nov. 3, on the 9.20 a.m. ferry, our grandson lost a very special stylus for his Nintendo DS. He did not discover his loss until returning to our vehicle. As we were due to exit the ferry we did not have time to talk to anyone about it or look for it.
Returning to Edmonds later that night, we talked with some of the crew about what had been lost. They were extremely helpful! Upon arrival in Edmonds we were guided off the ferry to someone who wrote down what was lost and its description. That person then gave us the toll-free telephone number for the lost and found department. I called Monday and the item had not been recovered. We were encouraged to call again the next day. On Thursday we called and were informed it had been turned in and told where it could be picked up.
We would like to compliment and give a big thank you to our Washington State Ferries personnel. The lost item was inexpensive and unimportant to anyone but an 11-year-old boy! To him, it was irreplaceable.
