In regard to Lorraine Tyrrell’s letter about Mr. Bloomfield’s picture in The Herald: Thank God we have people in our city who are loyal to our country. I’ve known Sam and his family for years and I don’t know anyone who is more dedicated to his country. He is a very pleasant, warm, human being who I am very proud to call a friend. The tattoos Sam has are a part of his culture and I don’t think the American flag he has on his face is offensive. It’s too bad people think poorly of others without knowing them personally. Thanks, Herald, for printing his story.
