Regarding the Oct. 20 letter, “Gregoire a proven, effective leader”:
Gov. Gregoire is definitely not a governor for the people. She is by the government, of the government, for the government! The people of Eastern Washington have no love for her — especially those of Kittitas County. She did not carry one county in the eastern part of the state in the last election. The people of Kittitas County had petitioned against a wind farm being built there, for good reason. It was right in the middle of an area of new homes and beautiful views. It de-values land and makes it impossible to sell — not to mention having to endure the constant flashing and clicking of the blades. It’s not like there was no other place over there to build! She railroaded that through despite the objections. There are plenty of other areas where the people aren’t happy with her.
We don’t need that kind of “leadership”!
