Many more small airplanes.
More helicopters.
Probability of business jets.
Floodplain issues.
I have been reading in The Herald about grandpappy Harvey pioneering this area and how Harvey Airfield was started 50 years ago and how the current head of this dynasty, Kandace Harvey, has a dream of a “treasured Snohomish valley.”
Hogwash.
This expansion affects more than just the Snohomish valley; it affects many surrounding communities, it affects wherever these airplanes and helicopters from Harvey airfield fly.
I don’t care how long ago the Harveys moved into town, we all live here now. The only people who have written in support of this notion are pilots or family friends.
Nobody but someone with a finger in the pot would think expanding Harvey Airfield a good idea. More airplanes and helicopters filling our already busy skies would be a big step in the wrong direction.
