The bombings in Boston are a somber reminder that there are still evil people hell bent on killing innocent civilians in our great nation. No matter how vigilant we have been in thwarting the numerous attempts of terror attacks since 9/11, the Boston bombings reminded me that sometimes a small scale terrorist attack will occur. Overall, I have been very pleased that both the Bush and Obama administrations have kept us safe since 9/11, by and large. Whether this was al-Qaida or an act of domestic terrorism, I am confident that we will find the perpetrators of this cowardly act and bring them to justice and remain as vigilant as ever in defeating terrorism domestically and across the globe.
