After reading the opinions lately about gun safety, I’ve noticed a trend to want to educate everybody about gun safety in our schools. There are a lot of people who don’t own guns, and don’t even allow there kids to pretend they are playing with guns. So that is not going to work.
I would suggest that if you are a gun owner and will be keeping your guns in a house or vehicle that kids will be in, everybody in that household go through gun safety training. You may not be able to educate a 3-year-old on gun safety, but that 7-year-old who sees a gun in their sibling’s hand will now have the knowledge to try to protect themselves.
