There have been a number of letters recently regarding President Obama’s ability to steer the “ship of state.” My observation is that he is more qualified to navigate the S.S. Minnow of “Gilligan’s Island” fame.
We nearly had a successful attempt at blowing a plane from the sky. The only reason it landed safely was that the bomber was a bozo. Hopefully, he burned parts of his body badly enough so as not to be able to produce any offspring.
The White House staff doesn’t tell Obama for three hours, and then he waits 72 hours to say anything about it and won’t take questions. Have to finish that round of golf. In the meantime, the bomber gets an attorney, preventing us from getting any vital information about how he managed to get on this plane with a bomb!
Then Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano first says the system worked. Huh? Then it didn’t work. Which was it? This woman was governor of Arizona when we lived there, before moving to this garden spot to be near our grandchildren. When she was appointed head of DHS, there was dancing in the streets because she was no longer governor. She had to buy any degrees she has, because dumb is way too kind a word.
Since the Skipper has been in office, he has installed a cabinet of tax cheats and racists and buried us under a mountain of debt, and Obamacare hasn’t even passed yet. Additionally, he has sullied the reputation of this great country in appearances all around the globe.
On second thought, I think the S.S. Minnow is even too much for him to handle. Maybe the kiddies’ boat at the park would be more suitable.
