My wife and I have just sent e-mails to our senators and to the president expressing our extreme displeasure and embarrassment and total lack of confidence in Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. His role in starting this ill-conceived and poorly-executed war and its aftermath cannot be denied by anyone paying attention. His cavalier, rude and arrogant responses to our troops on the ground has been reported before but reaches new lows with his recent visit to Kuwait. While he is telling them to just deal with it, no doubt a suitably-armored vehicle was located for his use.
If you also think this man is unfit to direct our family in uniform, please contact our senators and president directly. Maybe public outcry is needed.
