Regarding the Jan. 9 letter, “Creating law — Eyman needs new type of initiative”:
My reply to your reader is this: Tim Eyman is where he should be. He is keeping the citizens involved in our government. He is bringing the initiatives before the people for their perusal and signatures. If he is successful in gaining the required signatures, the initiative goes on the ballot. This process requires dedicated support and many volunteers.
Our legislators in Olympia are making too many decisions without the knowledge or the support of the citizenry.
My comment to Tim Eyman is this: Keep it up. Keep us involved and thinking.
Thank God our state has the initiative process.
