It sure is a difficult time for our country right now, and difficult to concentrate on our local concerns. But we must. There is an important election coming up Nov. 6 for Snohomish County. Our county might start seeing layoffs and a recession; still we need to look forward with a vision for our children. To continue working toward solutions that will address our traffic and school concerns, we need proven leadership.
Dave Somers has helped our county in countless ways. He listens to both sides of an issue and weighs the costs and benefits. He understands smart growth principles and ecology, and how they are both interconnected with our everyday lives. Please uphold our American right to freedom by voting on Nov. 6, and vote for Dave Somers for county council.
