John Lindh Walker. Call him any name he might choose. He is still a traitor. His father calls him a kid.
In this country we try kids 16 and under in adult court for crimes against other citizens. Twenty-year-olds know what they are doing, right or wrong. For a parent to send his son or daughter to another country and not monitor them bears some of the blame.
Walker defended the acts of the terrorists . He stated he knew what jihad means and stated it was “definitely” a right cause.
I would hope that the vets of this country along with their widows and widowers and their families would write or call the powers that be, that John Lindh Walker lose his rights as an American citizen and be tried as a traitor.
A traitor is one who betrays a trust. Article III Section 3 of the Constitution defines treason clearly: “Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying war against them or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”
We have no way of knowing how hard he tried to kill some of the U.S. service men. He’s not man enough to admit all he’s guilty of.
