Elections are upon us – primary ballots have arrived in the mail. I hope citizens will take the time to review the qualifications of candidates and exercise the most important responsibility of a democracy.
Over the years, Everett has been well served by leaders who have represented the best interests of our community. It is critical that this pattern of leadership continues – in the coming years it will be critical to ensure that our community continues to grow and prosper.
I’m voting for Shannon Affholter for City Council Position 7. I believe he will bring energy and common sense to the multitude of decisions that will shape our community in the years ahead.
