I am writing to encourage the citizens of Everett to vote for a great city council position 3 candidate. His name is Roy Sykes. Roy was one of my instructors at Edmonds Community College. He was definitely one of my favorite instructors. He encouraged and helped students learn the information he was teaching and it was very apparent that Mr. Sykes knew his stuff and kept up to date on his field. I feel that Roy Sykes truly wanted us to learn and maximize our potential. He was committed to teaching diversity, inclusion, acceptance and understanding. I know he would work just as hard toward making our city diverse – an Everett for everyone.
