Our season for back-to-school immunizations is nearly over and flu season is about to begin. We expect the flu vaccine to arrive for use at our clinics beginnng Oct. 14. We would like your readers to know that Snohomish Health District clinics accept medical coupons and offer a sliding fee scale for flu vaccine and the childhood vaccines required for school and childcare entry.
However, we are not able to offer all vaccinations on a sliding fee scale. Vaccinations for which our sliding fee scale does not apply include meningococcal vaccinations for college students and any vaccination received for travel outside the country. Medical coupons will cover the cost of meningococcal vaccination for college students.
Additionally, an office visit fee is charged for all clinic services except flu vaccinations. The sliding fee scale applies to office visit fees except for travel-related vaccinations.
If anyone wants more information about immunizations at health district clinics, they can contact us at 425-339-5220 (Main Clinic, Everett), 425-775-3522 (South County Clinic, Lynnwood), or visit our Web site at www.snohd.org.
