Regarding the Dec. 28 article, “Boomers are wary of direct deposit”: If the soon to be retired group of lemmings called “baby boomers” are afraid of having their Social Security checks direct deposited, why not simply deduct $1 from their check to cover the 83-cent cost of a paper check?
Why does the government have to waste time and money on surveys, congressional hearings, etc., on trivial matters such as this? “They like receiving a paper check” … sheeesh what a bunch of hooey!
