The Feb. 25 Herald diagram of the Granite Falls bypass for the hundreds of gravel trucks is missing some important details.
It’s important to note that the new Granite Falls High School has been excluded from the diagram. The school is being constructed about 200 feet from the roundabout being proposed for 100th Street NE as well as the Monte Cristo Middle School, which exists next to the new high school.
This means that the hundreds of trucks will still be rumbling past Granite Falls High. These roundabouts will be shared by gravel trucks, school buses, teenage drivers and the general public. Good luck.
