Herald photos of Monroe High football missed best plays

Congratulations to all the Monroe High School Bearcat football players, coaches, staff, cheer leaders and community support for a fantastic season. You made history and will be talked about for many years to come.

I was very disappointed in The Herald recently when I read the Nov. 18 sports page. Monroe Bearcats made a lot of great plays and yet the only two pictures that the Herald could publish were those of Monroe fumbling or missing a pass.

Obviously The Herald has no idea how some of the players must have felt when they saw this article. In doing so, The Herald showed no support for their local team. Made me feel like The Herald was rooting for Sumner.

Bearcats, you made us proud. Congratulations.
