Herald’s coverage, photos of MLK Jr. Day event appreciated

Many thanks to Herald writer Dan Watanabe and photographer Kevin Clark for the coverage of Sunday’s celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy. This lively and moving event at First Presbyterian Church on Jan. 19 reminded us all to continue the work for the yet unfilled portions of Dr. King’s vision.

The Snohomish County Black Heritage Committee and the many organizations and individuals who worked with them showed the possibility and beauty of bridging divides in community.
