We are at a point in this state where we need genuine leadership to get this state through the tough times and the tough issues that have arrived. Transportation, education, taxes and the budget – we need people who are willing to wade into the battle and get things done. This is why I support Erv Hoglund for 38th district state representative.
From his military service to his years as a card-carrying union worker to his involvement in local education to his involvement in local charity work Erv has displayed a kind of work ethic and “can-do” spirit that can only help the 38th District and the state of Washington.
In a recent Herald article Erv’s opponent said she wanted to go to Olympia “to learn.” We don’t need someone in the Legislature to learn. We need someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. This is why I now ask you to be counted on Nov. 6, and vote for Erv Hoglund.
