I would like to thank Larry Henry for 27 years of great commentary. I like to follow our local teams, but I am not a real big sports fan. But I did go to the sports page every day to read what Larry Henry had to say. I usually agreed with all he had to say, and enjoyed his humor and insight.
After reading John Sleeper’s first column, I agree with him that he has some big shoes to fill. His first column had a great subject and his respect and admiration for Larry really came through. I think he will do a fine job of filling those shoes. I wish Larry Henry well in his retirement. He will be greatly missed by this fan.
