My family and I are supporting the upcoming Valley General Hospital levy for more reasons than can be listed. We have had to take our young son into emergency twice now. They put a teddy bear behind his head and were so gentle. He adores that bear and takes it with him on trips. I have had to use different services at the hospital myself, along with other family members in which we were so relieved we could get there to meet, see, and comfort them easily. We need to keep our only Emergency Room service and level 4 trauma center!
My grandmother and my mother have been treated and hospitalized at VGH. We were so relieved that they were given wonderful, attentive, and thorough treatment there over the span of 40 years. There was always a very caring “community” feeling the nurses and staff gave all of us. It is reassuring how the staff is genuine about “We” are in this together for you. Please vote yes for yourself, your family, your friends, your community. The closer you are in the area, your yes vote is even more crucial to keeping a full service hospital near you!
