Housing task force has a volunteer

Deputy City Attorney Dan Hall recommends to the City Council that Everett needs to form a task force to examine sex offender housing and prepare a report to state lawmakers. I agree totally. As a responsible property owner and taxpaying member of this community, I not only agree but have sent letters to Councilwoman Brenda Stonecipher and Dan Hall requesting a position on that committee be held open for me. I intend to represent a large cross-section of this community, the registered sex offenders. I am a registered ex-sex-offender myself.

I hope this committee will take the complicated issues of where offenders need to live without turning it into another publicity-seeking witch hunt.
