How can they be underpaid?

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m sick and tired hearing how teachers are underpaid and overworked. Really! If you don’t like your job go find a better one! If you think the grass is greener on the other side then go for it. The biggest part of everyone’s property tax goes to schools, not to mention other avenues of money going to the schools, but yet all you hear is the schools and teachers never receive enough funds in this state. Something is not right with this picture. Enough is enough already.
