How far will defense extend?

Regarding the new Indiana law and personal choice, consider two scenarios: A couple goes into black American owned bakery and ask to purchase a wedding cake. After reviewing the cake book they select a cake. Regarding the cake decoration, they ask the baker to place the initials KKK on the front of the cake and figurines dressed in white robes on top. The baker refuses to provide the cake.

A couple goes into a Jewish owned bakery and ask to purchase a wedding cake. After reviewing the cake book they select a cake. Regarding the cake decoration, they ask the baker to place a swastika on top. The baker refuses to provide the cake.

Do you think that the mayor of Seattle or the governor of Washington would openly condemn the bakers in these cases? Do you think the attorney general would prosecute these bakers? Do think the DOJ would commence a civil right inquiry? I don’t think so. They believe in discrimination but only the ones they approve of. We should defend both bakers in these cases as well as the pizza owner in Indiana.
