I can’t believe Obama didn’t know

It’s amazing to think that Barack Obama came out of that sewer of politics in Illinois unscathed. How did he manage to rise to the top of that cesspool of political corruption untainted, and in a relatively short time? Remember, he was in the legislature there and campaigned for Rod Blagojevich. It’s hard to believe that Obama didn’t know what was going on. Will the Democrats cover this up or will they come clean and clean up this mess in Illinois?

Already, Jesse Jackson Jr. has hired an attorney to help him out. Mr. Jackson says he has been fighting corruption in Illinois for 13 years. If that’s the case, why isn’t he naming names? You can’t tell me he doesn’t know who they are. Why did he hire an attorney?

Blagojevich was positioning himself for a run to the White House in 2016. Now if there is any justice he will instead go to jail. How many politicians he will drag down with him? I can remember when I lived in that area, and Richard J. Daley ran the city of Chicago for 21 years. Now his son Richard M. Daley holds the same job, elected in 1989 and still there today. The Democrat machine in Illinois, mostly in Cook County, is probably one of the most corrupt places in our country. Back in the ’30s it was run by Al Capone. Back then they called them criminals, today they are called politicians. How can anyone come out of that system and not know who is doing what? Right now the former governor, George Ryan, is sitting in a jail cell, maybe Blagojevich will join him. Come on, Mr. Obama, tell us who these people are. I can’t believe you can come out of there and not know about all this corruption.
