The Herald did a wonderful job of presenting information on the proposed new AquaSox stadium in Everett and the location and names of the business organizations who would be displaced by the construction with possibly no place to move to (“20 businesses to be demolished for downtown Everett stadium,” The Herald, Feb. 28.
The big item the map does not show is how many more properties will be displaced by the need for parking. The expected 3,500 attendees arriving four to a car need 875 parking spots up to possibly 1,160 with three to a car. This does not include a major event combined at Angel of the Winds with a baseball game. Total gridlock.
