Hip, hip, hooray! The Dec. 30 Herald story, “Effort to reduce car tab falls short,” is a short reprieve from the antics of one Tim Eyman. The idea that he keeps trying to forge is, it is “our” $30 car tab. Really? When were car tabs $30? If the fee for driving one’s vehicle on Washington’s highways and byways is a burden to Mr. Eyman, should it not be up to our elected officials to rectify the situation.
Not to worry though, Tim will soon be back for more tax relief, but if I can make a suggestion, why not run for public office and show some real leadership. You have been a maverick, long enough.
