I still can’t believe what I read in Tuesday’s paper. Given her leadership position and acting as a role model, Sarri Gilman really helped me realize why some people don’t have to follow the law, just spend money. While I don’t really endorse the use of cameras as such, I just can’t fathom her thinking.
How many laws can I break if I spend $500 at the mall? Now I know why you can buy a Lexus or big SUV and it’s perfectly all right to talk on your cell phone, run red lights, fail to signal, etc. Spend a lot of money and you can do what you please. How much do you have to spend to hit someone in a crosswalk? Just maybe, Lynnwood would like her to stay on the island for everyone’s safety.
