Phenomenally poor judgment was demonstrated by The Herald in the publishing of the article about Stormmy Paul on Sunday. In that the article garnered front page status and a substantial amount of news space, I expected a story of some socially redeeming value. I was very disappointed to read about nothing more than the escapades of a serial scam artist operating in our community.
Mr. Paul is engaged in acts that violate state, federal and tribal laws, and his actions remain illegal regardless of his rationale in violating the laws. They should not be “heralded” except as a report of criminal activity or in the police blotter. Please respect your readers more in the future by selecting subjects that are more deserving of our readership.
