Continuing their purge of first-round draft picks from the Bill Bavasi era, the Mariners sent inconsistent pitcher Brandon Morrow to the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, in an alternate universe where stupid decisions are always rectified and everything turns out great every time, the M’s traded Morrow to the Giants for Tim Lincecum.

David vs. Goliath: A court ruled Tuesday that Microsoft violated a Canadian company’s patent, and issued an injunction preventing the sale of Word and Office 2007.
