Initiatives give back control to people

In response to Beth Brocato’s Jan. 14 letter, “Initiative 776: Hasn’t Eyman done enough damage?” and others who think the same thought: Tim Eyman and his supporters are giving us back government of the people, by the people, and for the people, one small step at a time. Since the majority of elected representatives and elected and appointed officials view the people as an inexhaustable source of revenue, we the people must regain control somehow, and the initiative process makes it possible to do just that.
