The Wednesday letter writer claiming that Jay Inslee is a carpetbagger needs to research his issues a little better.

Jay is no carpetbagger. Jay went to Eastern Washington for a job and got involved in politics. When he lost his seat in Congress in 1994 he came back home to the Seattle area. How do I know? I played against him in football in the Metro League. He played for Ingraham (’69) and I for Shoreline (’70). He also played against Everett City Council member Paul Roberts, Sealth (’70).
