There seems to be tons of information against unsolicited email, yet none about unsolicited junk mail. How many of us really solicit advertising?
Email is gone with a press of the delete key. I don’t even have to read or touch it. Junk mail, on the other hand, needs to be collected and then put in my recycling bin.
One more thought: if the post office were to raise rates for the delivery of junk mail instead of first class mail, could they really make some money? When someone figures out how to charge for spam, does anyone believe there will then be any complaints about it being such a drag? After all, it’s the money that keeps junk mail in our mailboxes and supports the recycling companies. I’m just tired of all the spam talk, when paper spam is more troublesome.
