The Jan. 29 guest commentary, “Outdated state water laws in desperate need of reform,” written by PUD Water Committee members, has me holding onto my wallet.
This isn’t about reforming water laws. This is to allow more development, which in turn increases revenue to plan and prepare for more growth. It is more difficult to serve new customers because of what we as citizens want. We don’t want more growth, traffic, management or increased water rates.
Let’s get a guest commentary from the farmers on this issue.
