Regarding the Monday article, “Everett City Council wearies of anti-fluoride activists”: Why would we would allow this to carry on for this long is absurd. If people want fluoride in their water they should add it themselves. But the truth is we already get that opportunity to use it or not in our toothpaste, so therefor having it in our water supply as well is too much. The truth of the matter is sodium fluoride is a hazardous waste by-product from the manufacture of aluminum and fertilizer, and it is a common ingredient in roach and rat poisons.
Facts concerning fluoride:
France, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Finland, India and Great Britain have all rejected its use after special commissions and health secretaries reviewed the negative evidence.
Fluoride has never received FDA approval and does not meet “requirements of safety and effectiveness.” The FDA states that fluoride is a prescription drug. Because this “drug” is put in municipal water, there is absolutely no control over individual dosage.
It needs to be taken out of the water supply now.
