In response to Cynthia A. Moore’s Nov. 21 letter, “Iraq war resolution: Congress should have known better”: I think she gives Saddam too much credit. She thinks this man was smart enough to lure us into a guerrilla war. That means he was smarter than all of our Congress.
It’s too bad she wasn’t in Congress at the time so she could have warned everyone. If she thinks this is just some little war in Iraq, she is wrong. This is World War III. I am OK with what we are doing and I hope and pray President Bush gets re-elected to finish the job. I remember World War II and how we tried to appease the Germans. Look what happened there.
This is much more serious than you think. This is worldwide, and the terrorists won’t be happy until we are all of the Muslim faith.
