In response to the Nov. 19 letter, “Walkers need to wear light clothing”:
The drivers need to pay attention to the crosswalk lights and pedestrians should be able to wear what they wish. Rucker Avenue is a well-lighted street where pedestrians are well seen from all angles. Drivers need to pay attention to the right of way of pedestrians, for they do have the right of way before any vehicle. And drivers should take the responsibility for their own actions, which could take the lives of innocent people, especially if there are children involved.
