I am so offended and shocked at the dirty politics being practiced by candidate Jeff Sax, quoted in the Sept. 13 Herald (“Election rival: Lovick was sex abuse suspect in ’90s”).
Sax chose to widely disseminate information about his opponent, John Lovick, that he knew to be false, hoping to dissuade readers from voting for Lovick. Sax showed poor judgment, a mean spirit and no class, yet caged his actions as some kind of moral imperative.
He knows there is nothing to the story, but hopes voters will be caught up in his antics. I understand that Sax may be desperate for votes, any votes, but he has hit a new low in my opinion. Bearing false witness is hardly a moral imperative.
