Join the boycott of this slimy trash

Kudos to Eugene Robinson and his Sunday column about the slime issuing from the Fox network this month. (“Read ‘If I Did It’ and you’ll need a shower.”) Two people are horrifically murdered. The man most likely responsible for that walks out of kangaroo court a free man. Then Fox dips down into its slimy underbelly of former Enquirer-trash and promises to thrill us with lurid tales from the man himself.

I, for one, will not partake of their slime. I am a fan of political talk radio and enjoy hearing different sides of the issues. I have long enjoyed the different perspectives on Air America and Fox News Radio. However, this latest from Fox has made me reconsider my choice from “the right.” I am joining Mr. Robinson in his boycott. In fact, I plan to take my protest a step further. I am removing Fox from my AM favorite stations. I will not be listening to Fox news, I will not be watching Fox television, I will not be buying the book and I will not be checking it out from the library.

No, I’m not burying my head in the sand. In fact, I am standing up proudly and saying aloud, I refuse to partake of this kind of garbage. I don’t need to read it to know that I’m not interested in hearing how a killer killed and walked away scott-free. I refuse to give Fox ratings for this garbage. I refuse to give Rupert Murdoch book sales for this garbage. Please join with us and deny anyone involved a single penny for this bottom-feeding, money-grubbing farce.

EMBARGO set by source.** House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, (D-NY) speaks at a news conference about Republicans’ potential budget cuts to Medicaid, at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, Feb. 27, 2025. As Republicans push a budget resolution through Congress that will almost certainly require Medicaid cuts to finance a huge tax reduction, Democrats see an opening to use the same strategy in 2026 that won them back the House in 2018.
