We do not take the time often enough to acknowledge and publicly thank people who make a positive impact on the lives of people of our community. But a huge thank you goes to Kate Livingston, who has worked for the City of Everett’s Park and Recreation department for more than 25 years, helping to improve and health, fitness and well-being of many. Daily, from very early morning to evening, you can find Kate at the Forest Park pool or Floral Hall gently motivating and pushing her students to meet their fitness goals. You know she lives what she teaches – cardio or muscle strength, proper body posture and grace. Performing the exercises with her students, Kate serves as a role model for lifelong good health habits. Our community is a better place because of Kate Livingston’s dedication and skill.
