I enthusiastically support Kristin Kelly to represent the 5th District on the Snohomish County Council. Kristin would bring decades of experience, knowledge and familiarity with the county, making her an effective council member from day one.
Twice elected to serve as the 5th District’s representative on the County’s Charter Review Commission, Kristin knows the nuts and bolts of our county’s charter and inner workings. She worked collaboratively with other commission members reviewing and crafting policy recommendations to the county council, seeking efficiencies and providing a forum for public input.
A long-time county resident, Kristin has spent years advocating for livable communities, clean air and water, tree retention, working farms and so many other elements that impact the quality of our lives. She has been a strong voice for sensible environmental policies and managed growth that seeks to preserve our county’s natural beauty and bountiful resources. I am certain she will continue to bring her passion and common sense problem solving skills to the council.
As a business owner she supports a robust economy, including tourism and recreation throughout the county. She also would also like to help smaller communities become more economically vibrant without creating unnecessary sprawl.
I have known Kristin for many years and know that she is very well qualified and will work hard and effectively as our representative on the County Council.
