Kudos to coaches for teaching sportsmanship

I want to thank the four great coaches of the Marysville Little League team Home Street Bank – Marty Martinis, Mike Harnden, Alfredo Ramirez and Gary Knectenburg.

They are a class act who not only led this team to the Tournament of Champions, but also gave us the greatest year ever of my son’s Little League career. They taught these boys good sportsmanship, team spirit and respect.

Our team was recognized by the Marysville City Council a few weeks ago. There are truly some great coaches and players in this town.
