The North Sound Society of St. Vincent dePaul is truly delighted to congratulate Julie Lord, the Area Director for Snohomish County WorkSource, for receiving the Governor’s Leadership in Management Award for her work in opening the WorkSource Center in Monroe. We have been delighted to be able to provide the opportunity for Julie to bring this incredibly successful resource center to Monroe.
Julie has been deeply involved in the implementation and direction of this center from the time we first discussed this as a potential concept. Her enthusiasm and dedication to the success of this center has been inspirational to all of us involved in this project.
A whopping 17 percents increase in WorkSource clients finding jobs is a testament to the value of making resources available to all those in need of services. The Monroe WorkSource Center location is provided by St. Vincent dePaul at no cost to WorkSource or any of the dozen human service providers that are a part of this wonderful project since opening last summer. Congratulations to Julie for her vision and to her dedication to those we all serve.
