Days after becoming homeless, I met Mary Dickinson, candidate for the Lake Stevens City Council. She invited me to a community discussion on the topic, and out for frozen yogurt.
Though I was a complete stranger, she made sure I was safe and she kept in touch. Since then, Mary has expanded my community, which of course, increases the chance I will find someone with an answer.
In the months we’ve been friends, I’ve learned Mary offers outreach to many in need. Because I volunteer for her campaign, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the Lake Stevens community. Mary has earned tremendous respect from friends neighbors and voters. Hers will be a valued voice on the city council.
Please vote in November: your community needs you.
