It has been an honor to be a member of this great community and Lake Stevens Fire since 2015. Our fire district is proud to be debt free, operate under a balanced budget and has a long history of passing independent audits by the state.
We serve 44,000 people in and around the Lake Stevens community. That may seem like a lot, but we are still a small town at heart where people greet each other by first names. That feeling is important to me as your fire chief, which is why I want to make sure that our community knows how to contact me personally to ask questions about our EMS levy lid lift that will be on the ballot in November.
Lake Stevens Fire is asking voters to return the EMS levy to 50 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value. (The same amount approved by the people of Lake Stevens in 2000.) I want to make sure your questions are answered and encourage you to contact me personally at 425-212-3044 or kobrien@lsfire.org at your convenience. Thank you.
Kevin O’Brien, Fire Chief
Lake Stevens Fire Department
