Why I’m voting for Lance Engle on Sept. 19 for Everett District Court, Position 2, non-partisan:
Lance is a man of high integrity and a wide range of experience that makes him highly qualified to serve as the next Everett District Court judge. Lance is a graduate of the University of Washington 1974 and the Gonzaga University School of Law in 1982. He is a member of the Washington State and Snohomish County Bar Associations, admitted to practice before the state Supreme Court and is currently employed by the state Attorney General’s office.
His commitment to law enforcement includes 16 years of experience with the Washington State Patrol as detective, FBI hostage negotiator and academy instructor. Lance has served as Northwest Regional Drug Task Force prosecutor and as chief criminal deputy prosecutor for Okanogan County. In private practice, his legal services included both civil and criminal law.
In 20 years of community service, Lance has provided countless pro bono hours serving the elderly and poor, providing foster and adoptive care to at-risk children and has worked with schools on teenage drop-out prevention. He has served this country in the Army and is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War.
