My husband and I have been teachers in Arlington for more than 15 years. At our first “welcome back to school” meeting, we learned who Margaret Larson was when we saw all 200-plus school employees spontaneously rise at her mere introduction. We learned why she was so highly regarded in our own subsequent dealings with Margaret.
If you already know Margaret, you’re probably already voting for her to be Arlington’s next mayor. If you don’t yet know her, I hope you’ll vote for her anyway. Let’s not pass up the chance to have a caring, capable, natural-born leader bring her hometown together. She’s one in a million.
